ites remote safety of solar power generation system Development of diagnostic technology Company release | Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun electronic version</p><p>Aites Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture; CEO: Yasuyuki Igarashi) jointly conducts demonstration experiments for the realization of smart security with Tohoku Electric Power Co., Ltd. By applying failure analysis technology, we have developed PV remote safety diagnosis technology that enables unmanned electrical tests related to the safety of photovoltaic power generation systems, which have traditionally been performed by on-site specialists. We automatically measure the string circuit of the photovoltaic power generation system every night and accumulate the measurement data on the web cloud by IoT. The measurement data is used to diagnose the soundness of the photovoltaic power generation system using a diagnostic algorithm developed by Aites, detect abnormalities at an early stage that could not be detected by conventional remote systems that monitor generated power, and notify the administrator. As a result, managers responsible for safety in implementing solar power generation projects, including PPA (*), can quickly prevent multiple remotely managed solar power generation systems from suffering serious failures such as arcing. It is possible to notice abnormal occurrences or their signs, and to take appropriate rush measures. Aites is conducting a joint demonstration experiment with Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. to apply the newly developed diagnostic technology to new risk management for photovoltaic power generation systems called Information source: PRTIMES Source of this release: https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000000005.000045831.html It is current as of the date of publication.
