Back 4 Blood -Review

"Back 4 BLOOD" (hereinafter B4B) is a cooperative zombie FPS by Turtle Rock Studios, which developed "Left 4 Dead" (hereinafter, L4D) and "EVOLVE".It has been 12 years since "L4D2", and this work had expectations as a spiritual sequel to the "L4D" series. This time, let's clarify what the actual situation is.

Before going to the text, this review will be delivered in the form of "Discussions by multiple players".As I thought before, why are reviewers often evaluated by cooperating FPS and teams that play with teams? It is the same in Japan and other countries. In fact, a variety of players are often playing together.

So this time, Kasai Collaits, Gabriel Ito, Shinji Ikeda, G.A member of the YouTube channel "Ordinance Video Game Ground Zero", a member of the YouTube channel, which contributed to IGN, such as Suzuki, played a game and reviewed it as a roundtable discussion.

In addition, this review is played on the PC version, and is evaluated for gameplay at the end of October, based on a version of the patch added on October 14, 2021.I hope you can read it with the possibility that there will be some reputation in the future update.

Kasai celebration (hereinafter Kasai): By the way, the evaluation of "B4B" has broken the pros and cons of the members.I was useless.I was reminded of how the "L4D" series is a high degree of perfection. This time I was doing it with a pad, and I thought that Aim was corrected and considered.

Ito Gabriel (hereafter, Gab): I and Ikeda have a good impression, but Kasai -san and Suzuki's evaluation was low.

Shinji Ikeda (hereinafter, Ikeda): I was suffering from difficulty, but I enjoyed a sense of accomplishment while having fun, so the impression of the game was good.I wanted to feel the FPS aiming and enjoying shooting, so I was playing on the keyboard and mouse.

Gab: I feel that I probably enjoyed this work most of this member.Originally, I want you to have this in the "L4D" series! One of the reasons was that the elements I thought were added. When I lost, I felt quite disappointed.I'm addicted to playing during this dialogue.I was playing with the keyboard mouse all the time.

Kasai: While saying, "I was no good," I understand "I want to play during the dialogue" (laughs). After understanding the games, it's very interesting to work together with his familiar friends to collaborate, or to play while consulting with a voice chat. But when you play in the stray, it is often difficult to do, as well as other parts.

In short, there is an attractiveness of breaking through one point. If you compare it in baseball, the batting average is low, but when you hit it, it looks like a home run.

G.SUZUKI (SUZUKI): I looked at the previous announcement and thought that it was the "L4D" again. However, when I played a little, I felt it was a work that I couldn't escape from the past, "I was a developer of" L4D "."By the way, I played on the mouse+keyboard.

Kasai: That's right."This is" L4D3 "!"It is undeniable that the place dragged by the past "L4D" series has created the drawbacks of this work.I wish I could talk about that reason from here.

Kasai: Looking back at the "L4D" series, I think, "It's a fierce content that survives from zombies, but it was a first -time player."As a cooperative FPS that survives from zombies, the first "L4D" in 2008 and the "L4D2" in 2009 were released for more than 10 years, and still 10,000 units players are playing on Steam.

There are various reasons such as mods, but there is no doubt that it is a game design that can be played repeatedly. At first glance, it is great that even if you are not good at FPS, you will surely get the experience of "surviving from zombies and escaping from the city".

Even if you play the same campaign, it will be a different experience depending on the AI director's production. This is a function that changes the arrangement of enemies and items in real time depending on the team's skill, and the game play changes each time you play.At that time, it was new to enhance the replayability in a cooperative game that would disappear if cleared once.

Ikeda: That's right.

Kasai: So what about "B4B" is a game with high hurdles for first -time players. The same cooperative zombie FPS as "L4D" is similar, but the purpose of the experience is fundamentally different.

At first, I compared it with the "L4D" series, and I felt that the composition of the whole game and the dark level design on each stage were redundant. It took time to realize that this is another game from L4D.I think it's a game that doesn't notice the essence of the game until the card system where the ability is added.

Gab: "B4B" has newly added card decks systems based on game play in the "L4D" series. In addition to the basic gameplay that the player operates and cooperates with someone among the four characters, draws one card that adds the ability value each time the chapter is cleared. It is in shape.

SUZUKI: Cards are available in various cards, such as increasing physical strength and ammunition, significantly increasing attack power under specific conditions, and recovering the entire team.

Kasai: "B4B" proceeds in the game cycle of "clearing the campaign to collect supplies points", "obtaining cards using points", "forming a card deck and heading for the campaign".The card system is at the core of gameplay.I felt that there were some places like RPG.

Also, from the recent game scenes, the card system has an impression like a rogue light in a sense.Like "Hades".In the "L4D" series, there are places where the same stage is repeated many times to enjoy changes in game experiences, so you can see a little similar design.

SUZUKI: But this card system is not completely random like rogue light. The feature of the player in advance that the order to draw the card was determined to some extent. It is composed of 15 cards, and by arranging the cards you want to use in order from the top, you can adjust which card can be drawn as the chapter progresses.

Kasai: I felt a little new to control the addition of abilities. On the other hand, the card also has the enemy side, and I thought it would be "What is this!?"

Gab: Oh, the decadent card was tight. That's almost completely random.

Kasai: This card has the function of changing gameplay by enhancing the enemy's abilities and generating fog on the map.On the other hand, there is a sub -challenge card like "If you clear it within 5 minutes, you will get money."In a sense, the function of the AI director who has adjusted the game experience has been opened.

Ikeda: Game play has changed with a fairly decadent card.Returning to the story, the cards that the players have are not all usable, but they are open using supplies points at home before entering the campaign.

The supplies points are available every time you clear the chapter.Using this point, select a variety of card sets with cards such as attacks and recovery, and open them one by one.And you put the cards you get on the deck and challenge the campaign.

Kasai: The point of the goods earned in the campaign, what is close to the release of the card, was the opening of the skill tree like the "Diablo" series.

Gab: In the "L4D" series, one campaign was composed of three to four chapters, but this time "B4B" is an ACT system. It was interesting to draw a card and move on to live while drawing a card with one ACT one chapter!

Kasai: If "L4D" is a movie series, "B4B" is like a Netflix or Amazon Prime original drama.Regardless of whether it's good or bad.

Ikeda: It may be a weird way, but the card deck configuration felt like a player designed gameplay.I think that it is basically a challenge to challenge this work with a high difficulty by preparing the deck firmly.I guess there is a context via "payday 2" and "Killing Floor 2".

However, I don't know if you have to go to the stage where you can enjoy the deck creation with the cards out.

Kasai: In the early stages, there are no cards at all, so I feel like I'm playing the worse "L4D" series. There was no experience to survive in the zombie movie in the L4D, and I even wondered what the Turtle Rock Studios did.

Gab: I remember enjoying the "L4D" series with friends. However, at the same time, I felt unsatisfactory. The remuneration of the campaign that everyone cleared while struggling was only sharing and achieving a sense of accomplishment, so I wanted a new element that could be newly opened, such as character growth elements and skins that could lead to a little more clear joy.

Kasai: Well!I think "L4D" is good because no growth element is needed.Even if there is no element to accumulate, even if it is not tasteful.

I am good in the "L4D" series because "what kind of experience you want to have" is clear and there is no unnecessary element to create that experience.Even in a tragic play, I thought it would be amazing to be natural for the experience of "if you were put in a zombie movie with multiple players, there are only one helpless."

Gab: The card system implemented in "B4B" has been stabbed personally! After working hard in the difficult stage group, return to the base, use supplies points, open the card to build a deck. There was a sense of accomplishment that was not when I played "L4D".

Depending on the type of card, you can change the game play mechanism, such as "you can have two main weapons" and "you can shoot a gun while running".

Kasai: Even if you talk lightly, "B4B" is inevitable with "L4D".Even if the game was more than 10 years ago, the influence was still great.

Ikeda: The "L4D" series is basically simple as FPS.It was rugged with a title that did not even have ADS.It was a stoic game.It seems that "B4B" has been consciously produced by adding the degree of freedom of a rogue -light card deck so that more new layers can enter.

Kasai: I don't think "B4B" is a design that makes it easy for new layers to enter.Rather, there are too many places to sieve, including the Fans of L4D.I think "L4D" is a different stoic, but rather the opposite impression.A game that is easy to enter even for first -time players.

Ikeda: What?

Kasai: The "L4D" series is essentially a game that "the characters you meet by chance will survive from zombie pandemics".That game has a very gunfighting battle, but the main experience is to "live and escape from extreme situations."

In other words, in common zombie films, survivors have met by chance in extreme situations, and the story of the game design that creates natural cooperation while surviving. If you play a game in the stray, the surroundings will only be unknown players, and it will be the same as the situation of such a story (laughs). That is the point that the first -time player can be a good experience, and it is wonderful to play now.

Ikeda: The "L4D" series is actually set as "I'm shooting a movie", so if you clear it, the staff roll will flow (laughs).

Kasai: The player was playing the role of the character!(Laughs). But "B4B" is a game where players are a specialist who completes the mission in the extreme situation.Including the story.

SUZUKI: When you explain the story, people around the world are infected with the parasitic "Devil Warm".So, specialists called "cleaners" are a story that fights the zombie "Ridun", which causes parasitic infections to save human beings on the edge of the destruction. So if you defeat Ridun, you will get a huge line of insects like earthworms.

Kasai: Players repeated campaigns there, gathered supplies points, opened the cards, and became a battle and medical specialist. In other words, the composition is reversed with "L4D".It took a little time to notice it because it looked almost the same.

Gab: Because of the same development studio, the image of "L4D" could not be wiped out.The impression varies depending on the difficulty level and the game mode, but for me, the "L4D" series was an impression of enjoying zombie movies with friends and playing popcorn.

Kasai: It's like watching a B -class movie (laughs).

Gab: On the other hand, "B4B" felt that the aspect of "clearing one game together" was stronger. For that reason, everyone will open the card while playing each, and everyone will challenge the next with thorough state and configuration.I thought this part was easy to pierce RPG and rogue light into the favorite layer.

SUZUKI: I remember that the "L4D" series was a game that required techniques. Not only that, it seems that Valve quality control was working well, such as a map configuration that was hard to get lost and a pattern in which special lidun appeared one by one.Honestly, the map of "B4B" or an unstable difficulty that many special infected people appear at the same time.

I thought that it was a waste that the difference from "L4D" finally appeared, as I could continue playing the card and the deck was able to be assembled.

Ikeda: Among Ridun, the enemy this time, there were some scenes that questioned the timing of special lidun.Even if everyone's physical strength is too exhausted, Bang Bang comes out.Of course the game is over.

Gab: Depending on the chapter, there are some places where the timing of the enemy rushes is visualized, so it can be understood if the number of special lidun increases. However, the number of special lidun that naturally appears naturally in other situations, regardless of difficulty.

Kasai: Special Ridun has come out at the lowest difficulty.Looking at the AI director of "B4B" that gives such a command, I thought, "Hey!

SUZUKI: (Ignoring the film director's parable) was difficult at the end of the ACT-3 at the minimum difficulty. The special lidun appeared many times and the move did not remain, and eventually the action report like a special unit, the action procedure was decided, and it was finally cleared.

Ikeda: While there were few life, there were no recovery items at all even if the box was empty, and it was difficult to fight, and there were many situations where the game was over.

The AI director says that "L4D" is adjusting items and enemies to enjoy "the last minute survival", but I felt that "B4B" is not the case.

Kasai: When I reviewed this time, I re -exchanged "L4D".I think that the experience of "L4D" is basically producing the tension and relaxation of zombie movies.I'm trying to create that feeling, "The time and place where zombies are attacking all at once and are relieved after surviving."

But this time, "B4B" is like an arcade game high difficulty challenge. There is no moment to be relieved to see the challenge to fight the enemy one after another. The introduction of continuation restrictions also feels like an arcade.I think it's different from a zombie movie -like tension and easing experience.

Kasai: While playing together, Ikeda and Gabriel evaluated the difficulty of touching as FPS and the difficulty of challenging as a game.In this area, I felt the difference as a player who emphasizes the zombie movie situation of "L4D".

Ikeda: That's right. When I first played, I felt that firearms were really good.It is an impression that the comfort as an FPS has been much more than "L4D2".First of all, ADS, which looks into the aim of the gun that was not in the L4D, was implemented, and it was possible to shoot precise shooting. In addition, the type of firearm has increased, so it is a good impression.

Kasai: Certainly, the action of shooting and movement was more detailed than "L4D".

Ikeda: That's right. The evolution of the character action was good. For example, the shooting while squatting was so meaningless to not disturb the rear guard when it was "L4D2".

Gab: There was (Shimijimi).

Ikeda: In the "B4B", I liked the design of the crouching accuracy, and the cards have the ability to "squat down" and have the ability to "get a friendly fire".

Also, the movement was modern FPS.Jump can be climbed and moved even at high places, like Parcour. The dash is managed by stamina gauge and I can't run all the time, but it's good that I had a strategy in the "escape from the enemy" while looking at the remaining stamina.

Kasai: Certainly, I also felt the atmosphere that matched the basic operation of FPS, such as "APEX Legends," from the current "Call of Duty" series.

Ikeda: It's close to a modern FPS feeling. The lack of sliding is rather uncomfortable.

Gab: I wanted to kick the enemy by sliding (lonely).

Suzuki: The gun is really good.Attachments that are attached to six types of weapons, such as shotguns and assault rifles, are not only a change of aim (ACOG, holosite, etc.), but also the barrel/magazine/stock to enhance the parameters, such as increasing firepower. It was well done because of the synergistic effect of enhancing performance.

Kasai: Speaking of a modern FPS, I have the impression that the number of enemies and developments that are more flashy than the "L4D" have increased.I thought that fighting a huge enemy "Ogre" was like "Gears of War".

SUZUKI: There were few such special missions and situations, such as "put gasoline in the car fuel tank" or "fight in an amusement park" in "L4D2".I thought it would be different to proceed in a serious atmosphere over the whole story.

In particular, there are scenarios that rescue other survivors, and the differentiation from the "L4D", which just escaped, is being differentiated.Speaking of other gimmicks, I thought that the gas grenade that appeared in the late ACT-3 to Rideun was working effectively, and the zombie genre itself revealed the difference from 10 years ago.

Ikeda: There is a special lidun that stops the movement by restraining the player and stops moving, inherits the special infections of "L4D2".The crusher is one of them, and it is a special lidun that grabs this with a huge arm and cannot move.In order to escape, it was necessary to cooperate to shoot and defeat the weaknesses at the neck.

Gab: I felt that the thrill of "I have to aim for my weaknesses immediately and accurately" is more prominent the fun of FPS in this work. This work tends to be exhausted, so you can enjoy the experience of keeping the assault rifle while cherishing each shot one by one.

However, depending on the progress of the mission, the type of decadent card, and the difficulty level of play, there are many times when you do not aim for weaknesses, or if you do not aim for weaknesses, damage will not be damaged at all.In that case, it is necessary to make up the bullet damage or the cards with weakness special effects while extinguishing various disadvantages.

Kasai: After that, the production of the mission for each chapter was more flashy than "L4D".The flow of the ferry blast in the early stages, and in the end of the ferry, the flow of the special lidun and the huge lidun was confused and the flow of fighting up like a war, and it was like the AAA -level FPS of the past year (laughs).

Ikeda: I'm glad that the boss was properly and the excitement as a campaign. It is exciting as if you are a shooter, and it is difficult, but you can enjoy the battle.

Gab: As I changed the campaign start position and played while increasing the difficulty level, I was always surprised because the boss sometimes appeared in places that did not appear so far.

Even if it is thrown into the situation in the immediate situation, each boss has a weak point and strategy, so if you try it without giving up, you will be able to defeat it smoothly. It was very good to be able to feel the growth as a team.

SUZUKI: The biggest difference from "L4D" is that players are growing as numbers, not only to learn efficient movements. Are you actually playing, and the card element is in a sense that is close to RPG -like parameters?I was playing while thinking.

Kasai: While it was real as FPS, it was not good that the expression regulations were quite tight.

Ikeda: Gore depictions such as bleeding and body destruction were cut off, so it was regrettable that it lacked exhilaration. You can see that the enemy was defeated by the motion of falling and the movement of blowing off.

SUZUKI: Special lidun's leaker explodes when it is defeated, but because of the regulation, it only blows away as it is, so it is difficult to convey that the leak system explodes and dangerous, so honest game play.It seemed to have influenced

Kasai: What I saw in "B4B" was to say that this was a game closer to "overwatch" and "Valorant" rather than "L4D".In other words, it is a game where players are aware of individual rolls, such as DPS and support.

Ikeda: It's like a hero shooter.By creating a card deck configuration, you will create your own role and face each stage of high difficulty.

This time, each character has various skills, such as "Stamina recovery+25%, team movement speed+5%", so I think it is a game design that fights with the team while sharing a role.

Kasai: As a story, it's a story of a cleaner, a specialist who opposes Ridun. The general public is not the main character like "L4D".So I guess I drew a difference in ability for each character.

After forming a team this time, the role of using it was naturally decided.Everyone also assembled the card build in the form of expanding roles.

Gab: I mainly used Holly and Curly.Holly can recover stamina immediately by defeating lidun, so you can make up for what has been reduced by dash and melee attacks.

The card used the card "Adrenaline secretion" to double the maximum stamina. The stamina recovery efficiency was greatly reduced, and the recovery system was changed and the stamina was emphasized.A deck configuration specialized in short -range battles such as "Run and Gun", shotguns and melee weapons, which allows you to shoot while running.

Kasai: As he played in IGN JAPAN's "Ito Gabriel's Mucha's Mucha Live", he worked hard to open the way with the avant -garde of the team.

Gab: On the other hand, Curly has the ability to detect special lidun within a certain range from himself, and if you can collaborate within the team, you will be able to respond to surprises without difficulty. There is also the advantage of increasing the usage speed of targets and tool kits.

Back 4 Blood - レビュー

Taking advantage of those strengths, it was a deck configuration that enhances medium -range to long -range weapons, such as assault rifles and sniper rifles, to process special lidun from a distance without danger. In addition, by including the card "driver" that increases your usage speed, you can do the stage goal more smoothly.

Suzuki: I used Hoffman. When he defeats Ridun, he has the ability to appear ammunition with a certain probability. In addition, the "B4B", which is easy to break out of ammunition, has the ability to increase the maximum value of ammunition that the whole team can have just by choosing a member.

Therefore, the deck configuration is aimed at continuously defeating as many enemies as possible and supplying bullets to allies. For example, "Magazine coupler" and "Large Magwell" for improving reload speeds, "large -diameter bullets" for damage and penetration.

Kasai: I was very bad at Aim, so I used Doc, which has a strong recovery support in the elimination method. In "B4B", we use bandages and emergency packs for recovery, but there was a strength that could be recovered without them. The recovery efficiency was high, so it was fun to build a card deck specializing in team support and follow -up.

Ikeda: Originally, I chose the Walker in charge of DPS.This character has the ability to increase the shooting accuracy and damage when a head shot, but I changed it to a mum when aiming for clearing.

Kasai: Mr. Ikeda likes the style of a special attack with the avant -garde, but it is a bit too much to be over the game, so I talked about changing the team configuration and made it a support character.

Ikeda: Mum is the oldest grandmother character, and he was a very active character that could be revived immediately when his ally went down.He has the ability to increase the team's extra life.

But I wanted to be the role of DPS, so I was building a building that improved everyone's abilities. When someone collapsed, everyone had a card that would increase the attack power, and to recover over time.

Kasai: It was very interesting to assemble a card deck according to the character's ability. The exhilaration when the deck and the character were combined and led to the team cooperation were amazing.I think this is the most attractive part of "B4B".

Ikeda: Isn't there a place where the game itself is difficult and some useful characters are decided to clear? There is a feeling that the game side is forced to select the character a little, so it is not very good.

Kasai: There are places where the best character pick for capture is decided."B4B" basically tends to run out of ammunition, and special lidun often appears in a group, so it is easy to die.In addition, there is a stamina setting, so even if you run and run away, you can catch up on the way due to the stamina.

That's why there is a feeling that I can play properly with Hoffman, who can increase the number of ammunition's possession of the team, and a mum and doc with a strong recovery. When I got it with this member, I guess Holly, Hoffman, Mam, and Doc are a safe team composition to the veteran difficulty....... Isn't it acceptable?

Gab: If you want to use your favorite character, you can put it sharp with a card build.Although it is a DPS character, it can be used by including recovery and ammunition support cards.

Kasai: Yes, the discretion of the card build is great. On the other hand, I played games, and I don't think there were many characters as the expression of the story. There was even a gorgeous movie at the key point of the campaign, but for some reason the character was thinner than "L4D".

SUZUKI: The character of "B4B" was characterized by the ability to increase ammunition and the ability to recover, but I couldn't feel much from the character's unique interaction or lines.Game play is busy and you can't read the dialogue subtitles.Given that, I think it was good to dub the Japanese.

Gab: At the time of "L4D", it was decided that "I'm going with this character!"There is no difference in abilities, but I was attracted to the character of characters such as buildings and Zoe.

On the other hand, in the B4B, the emphasis was on clearing the game, and I often chose the character's ability and the build of the card rather than the character's preference.

Kasai: If the character has a clear ability, you will not care about your character because you evaluate the character with the efficiency of the capture.I guess that leads to the difference from the character of "L4D".

Gab: So, this work has a focus on the experience of clearing one campaign and clearing it.In addition, I wonder if the so -called growth factor of opening cards will motivate players and lead to replayability.

Gab: In addition, there is also an element of vendor that uses money to purchase weapons and equipment this time.Money is not only the reward for clearing the stage, but also the challenge capture and the detour.

By making this money well, I was able to strengthen the character's ability, such as "increase in items" and "increase physical strength an increase" that sometimes arrived in vendors.

Suzuki: This vendor system was a pretty interesting element. It seems that it was a good trade -off to raise the maximum number of physical strength and items of the entire team by paying expensive money, or to think about preparing personal equipment.

Ikeda: Money is given to other players by dropping your own money to the ground, so it's especially easy to work on a strategy.

Kasai: In addition to vendors, it is also characteristic that there is rarity depending on the weapon. While proceeding with the chapter, switch to a higher ranked weapon. This process has a little FPS & RPG feeling like the "Border Rounds" series.

Gab: Having a rarity in the weapon, it was a little trehan element, and the merit of opening a weapon box and a hidden room was increasing. There were many situations that lead to the path to survival.

Kasai: Looking at various elements featured in "B4B", such as card systems and rarity elements, there are a number of game designs that have been popular for more than 10 years from "L4D2".。It looks as if trying to regain a long blank.

SUZUKI: In that respect, it seems that "B4B" is not "L4D3", but it is a game as an answer to the "L4D" series that follows the flow of "L4D" follower co-op games such as "Payday 2".。

Kasai: I've been evaluating the various systems of "B4B" so far, but the leading wires that naturally make the players understand the complex system naturally and learn what kind of game play is best.

Suzuki: It's weak. The explanation of the official website for Japan is not enough.

Kasai: "Game reviews are based on normal difficulty, and it's not easy or hard to play, but it should be evaluated based on what game designers want players with the largest pledge to play. There is a person in the game industry that says, and I agree.

But it's hard to understand the normal mode.Beginners, veterans, and nightmare are prepared in the order of nightmare, and if you play first, you will get lost at this point. There are three levels, so the veteran looks normal, right? It's different. It's almost hard mode.

Gab: Regarding the difficulty level, I wanted the "B4B" to add another easy difficulty level, as there were four levels in "L4D".Even if you were a beginner or play with your friends after the middle stage, you often struggled regardless of the play in the stray.

Kasai: People who play L4D for 1000 hours do not choose a difficult beginner.I think everyone will choose a veteran at first.Regardless of whether or not the L4D play is played, there are many points to stumble in the first view play at the time of the difficulty selection.

Ikeda: There is no doubt.Beginners should be a lot of players who are reluctant to the name itself. The name of a beginner is not good.

Gab: I feel that this work is best to play with beginners and gradually increase the difficulty. However, I was not convinced that the ratio of supplies points obtained by beginners would decrease.

Kasai: It's easy to get worse at first glance, including that.Even if you do a veteran with no cards at all, game play is simply difficult to function. As I said earlier, it may look like a deteriorated "L4D".

Perhaps the development side may make the L4D fans for many years think that it's a different game from "L4D".But I don't think it's the essence of the game, "I'm a specialist who will complete the mission with cards."

Suzuki: I've been playing many times, and I'm really worried about the difficulty. It is very difficult to play with a beginner with four people, and it is clearly unstable to have three Tallboys, one of the special lidun, appear at the same time.

Ikeda: Tallboy has really come out ... I can't help but get stuck with a big hand!Although it sinks as soon as the weakness is concentrated, it has the aim power and a seriously troublesome enemy.A few bodies, at the same time, seem to be more difficult than burning developments.

SUZUKI: Also, in the Act-3, the latter half of the lidun infinite sprouts are not connected because they consume ammunition and become poor.

Ikeda: Basically, I thought it was difficult to challenge the "L4D2" player. What makes you feel that you are conscious of the former player is that you want to learn the standard stone, aim only to clear the chapter, and avoid the enemy to a marathon to the safe room.

Even with "L4D2", there were many gameplay that runs through without fighting when good people gather.Even with "B4B", it may be difficult to clear unless you run through the veteran difficulty level.

Kasai: Certainly, if you play with a veteran or more difficulty, don't think about how to run in a safe room rather than fighting Lidun. If you survive alone and arrive in the safe room, you will be a chapter clear.

However, in the story, it should be a "specialist cleaner who fights Lidun", but for some reason, it will be a game where game play will be more "run away and survive than fighting" than "L4D".What do you think of it?

Ikeda: In the middle of the beginner's early stage, of course, in the second half, I often shoot. So I think it may be sharp. However, I want the countermeasures to be countermeasures. If you have "veteran and nightmare, the card will be opened from the beginning" will be a different game play, and the way you enjoy it will change.

Gab: I think the high level of difficulty is also affected by the card opening system.Currently, the card open and skin open are messed up, and if you do not open the fixed blocks to some extent, you will not get a card that is not an exaggeration to say that it is essential for team play.

For example, separate blocks between cards and skins and entrust the selection to the player.Choose freely from the 20 -card cards. If you finish all of them, if the following 20 card groups are selected, you can take the essential card and the individuality of the build.I think it will be easier to put out.

Kasai: It would have been better to choose a card like a so -called trading card booster pack.

Ikeda: However, despite the use of valuable supplies points, I reduced the number of points that can be obtained with a chapter suitable for lapping play, so I don't know what kind of game balance the development side wants to give players. right.

Kasai: When "B4B" is definitely different from "L4D", there is also "Can you be satisfied with playing in the wild?""L4D" is not a very fundamental experience in the field or a team.

Suzuki: Yes, I think so.

Kasai: I think "B4B" is quite difficult if it's a stray.Certainly it would be interesting to form a team with friends. The essence of this work is that each player realizes the role of DPS and recovery role, and forms a card -building card that matches the role, and is a specialist team. That's why "B4B" is incredibly interesting if you share a team with a person who knows the standard stone of the game.

Ikeda: Yes, it's a game design that shines very much!Cooperation can be worked on more fun and more motivated than "L4D2".It's a lot of fun to talk about not wearing a deck, and to consult about what characters use.Everyone has the pleasure of making the roll.

Kasai: Is that a sense of "overwatch"?But not all players can create such a team.

SUZUKI: When playing for the first time, there is concern that both themselves and others will create an awkward atmosphere because they do not have any cards and have no ability. In fact, when I played with Mr. Kasai who was playing before the first play, there were times when tactics did not engage.

Kasai: The "L4D" series is easy to enter even in the first play, regardless of the skill difference of each player and the progress of gameplay, but "B4B" has a difference in card decks because of the difference between players.Cheap.In particular, there are many cards that enhance the entire team, so if you do not assemble important cards on the deck, it will affect whether you can clear it.

Gab: If you can play with the team, the goodness of this work will stand out more. Not only chat and voice chat, but you can also communicate to some extent with the instructions to pins.

If you have just started a game, I would like to strongly recommend a difficult beginner when you just start a game.If you are a beginner, you can select multiple campaign start checkpoints, so it is easy to get out even if you can go out of the team in a hurry. If you open the card to some extent, you can manage the veteran wilder if you learn the ACT / stage configuration to some extent.

Kasai: In any case, a game that does not start to open the card. Moreover, it takes a lot of time to accumulate supplies points until it is opened. This is also a part where the evaluation becomes strict.

In addition to regular campaigns, is the "solo campaign" that can be played alone effective for collecting supplies?I only touch it ...

Gab: No ...Solo campaign has almost no merit to play at present.I can't get the supplies points that are rewards ...

Ikeda: I haven't done much solo campaign, but what is the mode for that?

Gab: You can try out cards you don't have, you can see the stage configuration first, the campaign progress is shared with solo and multi, so it is an advantage that you can increase the campaign start point ...In this mode, I wanted to be able to get supplies points. It is one of the points I want to adjust in the future.

Kasai: In the multiplayer game, I think there are quite a lot of players who want to play in the stray. But "B4B" is quite tough, including the points that Gabriel told me.

It is too hard to collect points alone in the early stages, even though it is a game that can only start with collecting goods and collecting cards. We were able to clear the campaign with the team, so it was relatively easy to obtain materials, but not just that player.

Ikeda: "B4B" has a cooperation, and it is difficult to move on the stray in the stray because it is easy to connect to the game over. No, it's better to abandon all other ally and go to the safe room, and it's a good idea to fall as a cooperative game.

Kasai: If you don't have a card, you can't even contribute to the team, and if you first play a veteran in the stray, you can't even make a game.

Gab: This work tends to be more common for players to know.Card configuration, stage configuration, where is the key item and the correct answer route?Because it is a game where immediate judgment is important ...!

Kasai: The hurdles early in the game are very high.Even if you are a beginner like the "L4D" series, you can feel a cinematic slow, and it is not a design that is easy to clear. So when you start the game with the expectation of "L4D3", there is a head.

Ikeda: There are more common stones than "L4D2", and it is complicated to learn.First of all, it is better to know the effect of the card, or if the battle surface is caught with tentacles, hit and help rather than shoot with a gun, or if the one who catches a friend of a trollboy is to aim for a weak point and defeat it.Good.

Gab: Despite the need for such a staple, the number of continuation is a wall. For those who want to do their best and want to challenge, including the difficulty and the skills of the team, "I can't pull later" can be a burning factor, but most players are not.I'm going.

Kasai: Basically, the system that can only continue once also makes the impression worse.Even if the team gathers in the wild and can cooperate with improvisation, it will usually break up if it is annihilated. That also causes the motivation to play alone.

Conversely, like us this time, if you are in a team, you don't really feel the meaning of continuation restrictions. All you have to do is rebuild the same chapter and play.

SUZUKI: It's hard to increase the number of continuation, and in a sense, it's a measure to make the match easily dissolved, but I don't need to be honest.

Furthermore, if the number of continuations has expired and the mission fails, the points are not available.

Kasai: There is no point 0 due to mission failure. This is one of the reasons why it is difficult to play alone. If it is a stray that is difficult to cooperate with team, there are many scenes where clearing is difficult. It takes time to reach the most interesting place in "B4B" because you can't get the number of cards if you can't get the supplies points.

Gab: On the other hand, it was personally happy to create save data for each campaign by leaving the room.Even if the difficulty is high, you can save in some situations.

Ikeda: Is it okay to regard PVP's "Sworm Mode"?

Kasai: Oh, I had the impression that this interpersonal mode was quite pros and cons ...

Ikeda: This is divided into lidun and humans like "L4D2", replaced each game, fighting, and earning points first. You can appreciate the fun of manipulating various special lidun side, which rampaged in the campaign.

Kasai: This is also good like an asymmetric objective FPS if you play with your friends and play with the role of everyone. It is also interesting that the strategy changes depending on the pick on the lidun side.

Ikeda: On the other hand, if it is a stray, other players leave the room in the middle of the game.It will be exciting when you do it with the team, but I don't think PvP in the stray is very good.

Kasai: Then, after evaluating, let's put together the score of each member at the end.

SUZUKI: I see, I played with these four people, so I think it's best to summarize the review as it is as a four-player CO-OP game, "Back 4 BLOOD".But is this close to a review of a certain magazine????

Kasai: Oh, I noticed now.

Gab: No, let's get a score!

Ikeda: This is a writer composite review, so there are many perspectives!let's go!

Kasai: Then from me.It's "6 points" ..."L4D", like the story, a stranger met by chance and felt a joint fight while surviving.Compared to that, in the case of "B4B", it is a specialist, so it is difficult to feel a joint fight if players are not conscious of becoming a specialist.

The process of becoming a specialist in reality is the first strict training, just as amateurs can be sifted, and the first game is tough in the "B4B".I think it's a failure to take the time to go to the most interesting place in the game.

Gab: Personally, it's "8 points"!For me, "B4B", which is more stoic than "L4D", and "B4B", which is meaningful for replays, was a very satisfying experience. In the future, I will continue to take on the challenge of trying to challenge the card while determining the composition of the card.

However, there are some parts that are inevitably noticeable, such as adjusting card open systems and campaigns, and gaining small parts of special infected people on the stage, and gaining supplies points, so I would like to expect future improvement updates.

Ikeda: The final personal score is "8 points".We can expect to go up in the future. As long as I play with my friends, I think this work is 9 points. The point I want to fix is that there is a "matching evaluation system", so I have to prevent the stray play, improve the quality of matching, improve the balance of cards, and review the continuation system.

The advantage of this work is that there is a basic pleasure as an FPS.Aim as a shooter, shoot, hit. There is that pleasure properly. If you implement ADS and squat down, the collective rate will increase. There is a pleasure of shooting with the design of modern FPS firmly.

That's why the foundation of FPS, which is fun to play, is solid. It makes me feel that I was looking at the context of "payday 2" and "Killing Floor 2".

Suzuki: I think the current score is "7 points".It is fun to move normally and shoot the enemy, but as mentioned above, various problems, including the fact that the number of special lidun appears in the difficulty bikiner and the balance of game play seems to be collapsed. It is regrettable that we are in the way of game play that is fun to cooperate.

It is a good idea to change the ability during game play with card deck elements. However, the decadent deck on the game director AI side is too strong.I think that differentiation from "L4D" is finally made, but it is a pity that there are many small problems, including the map that is easy to get lost.

Kasai: So, the final IgN JAPAN's official score is a small point of the average value of the four scores. As you can see from each member's scores and opinions, "B4B" can be said to be quite clear and bad.

Ikeda: A little Kasai -san Gabriel -san SUZUKI's SUZUKI's heart should be one of the hearts of everyone in a review! As I said in various ways, this game can be played with friends!Let's start "B4B" now and get warm!

Suzuki: It seems that my last is good ...
